Re-engineered panels provide short lead times, reduced cost, and simple “drop-in” deployment into networks

AURORA, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Westell Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: WSTL, “Westell”), a leading provider of broadband products, outside plant telecommunications equipment and conferencing services, today announced the release of a new line of next-generation fuse panels that deliver short lead times and simple installation at low cost. These new products round out Westell’s fuse panel line with quality, cost-competitive, industry-standard units that are drop-in replacements for most existing panels. The new panels include:

  • 15 x 15 dual bus, 20 amp GMT fuse panel (NPGMT1012)
  • 10 x 10 dual bus, 20 amp GMT fuse panel (NPGMT1107)
  • 4 TPA / 6 GMT dual bus fuse panel (NPTPA1105)
  • 4 position, 125 amp demarcation panel (NPTFD1009)

Using the best design technologies and manufacturing facilities available, Westell is able to offer these products with lead times measured in days, instead of weeks or months. They are simple to install, featuring a drop-in style that is compatible with the most common implementation and maintenance standards. Their compact size fits 19-inch and 23-inch racks.

With their flexible design, these cost-effective, domestically manufactured panels are suitable for virtually all telco operator applications. All panels are compliant with NEBS Level 3 and NEBS Zone 4 seismic requirements.
