Westell Creates Advisory Board and Appoints Two Members

Enhancing Westell’s Technological and Customer Insights

AURORA, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Westell Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: WSTL), a global leader of intelligent site and outside plant solutions, has created an Advisory Board to continue Westell’s technological advancements and innovations in the telecommunications market. The primary focus of the board is to provide an industry opinion on Westell’s approach and technological direction on the company’s growth and market strategy.

Westell has appointed the first two members to the team: Scott Erickson and Kevin Roden. Mr. Erickson has more than 30 years of experience in the wireless communications market – most recently consulting with large organizations on product planning and sales and marketing development. Mr. Roden also has more than 30 years of experience in technology and management. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of American Tower Corporation, a leading independent owner, operator, and developer of wireless and broadband communications real estate.
