eSmartJack™ Ethernet Extension Device

The eSmartJack™ is an Ethernet Extension Device which has been purpose built for Ethernet service handoff applications. This fully managed NI8102 is designed especially for “edge” applications, deploying the latest in reliability and security for harsh environments, on the perimeter of the network so that Ethernet service can be delivered anywhere.

The eSmartJack can also be used in cellular backhaul applications. By simply plugging the device into any available slot in a CellPak or any 400 mechanics housing, it will deliver all the performance monitoring and fault isolation functionality of the original SmartJack, plus the addition of the SiteVu™ telemetry system – all at GigE speed.

SiteVu™ Secure remote monitoring telemetry features include:

  • 4 external telemetry inputs; for doors, power supplies, alarms, and other external sources*

*Requires installation in SiteVu enabled mountings, such as Westell's EMAS mounting series.
